Continuing opportunities for upper-level students

Yes, we are primarily a first year program, but we want to keep you engaged throughout your time at MIT.

Upper-level students can stay involved through:

  • Advanced humanities, science, and math offerings
    • Continuing Conversations seminar with readings from authors such as Ovid, Dante, Montaigne, Montesquieu, Plato, Sophocles, Aristophanes, Thomas More, and Homer
    • A variety of Spring humanities offerings
    • Organic Chemistry I (CC.512)
  • TA, tutor, and discussion leader positions with annual training and faculty supervision
  • Associate Advisor positions with Concourse faculty
  • Priority for Concourse sponsored trips over IAP to Greece and Italy and Spring Break in NYC
  • Opportunities for Debate Fellow positions in which students help organize and run Concourse debates
  • Continued access to the Concourse lounge
  • Whole-community outings and events
