Yes, we are primarily a first year program, but we want to keep you engaged throughout your time at MIT.
Upper-level students can stay involved through:
- Advanced humanities, science, and math offerings
- Continuing Conversations seminar with readings from authors such as Ovid, Dante, Montaigne, Montesquieu, Plato, Sophocles, Aristophanes, Thomas More, and Homer
- A variety of Spring humanities offerings
- Organic Chemistry I (CC.512)
- TA, tutor, and discussion leader positions with annual training and faculty supervision
- Associate Advisor positions with Concourse faculty
- Priority for Concourse sponsored trips over IAP to Greece and Italy and Spring Break in NYC
- Opportunities for Debate Fellow positions in which students help organize and run Concourse debates
- Continued access to the Concourse lounge
- Whole-community outings and events
